Improv Taranaki was founded in 2023 to grow the art of improvisation in the region.
It’s done with a strong belief that through this practice we can be better humans – on stage, with our families, colleagues and communities.

We value growth and development, pushing ourselves to consistently get out of the comfort zone. We value manaakitanga, working together in a safe and supportive manner. And we value collective joy, seeking to create experiences of joy for all that come into contact with our community.

We stage regular shows, teach classes at all age levels and work in other high performance settings.
